Our terms, clearly explained

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our services or making any booking through Jatra Tour. By proceeding with a purchase, you agree to be bound by the terms set out below.

Bookings & online purchases

Contract for products and services

Unless otherwise stated on this website, Jatra Tour (referred to as the “Operator”) acts as an agent and distributor for third-party travel service providers for all products and services purchased through this site. By confirming your intention to purchase, you enter into a binding contract with the relevant third-party provider and/or the Operator.

By submitting a booking request, you confirm that you have the legal right to purchase, use, and/or possess the relevant products or services. You also acknowledge that the contract is conditioned on the accuracy, completeness, and sufficiency of the information you provide.

Third-party travel service providers

When the Operator acts as an agent for third-party providers — such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, car rental companies, or insurance providers — you may also be bound by that provider’s own terms and conditions, including those related to cancellation, amendments, and carriage.

The Operator is not liable for any failure to meet or dissatisfaction with products and services purchased on your behalf from third parties. We are also not responsible for overbooking or schedule changes made by airlines or other travel providers.

 
Passport, visa & health requirements

Many countries require foreign nationals to hold a valid passport with at least six (6) months remaining validity. Passport, visa (including all transit visas), and health requirements are the sole responsibility of each traveler.

Any information provided by the Operator regarding documentation requirements is given in good faith and should be treated as guidance only. Each traveler is responsible for ensuring their travel documents are valid, complete, and correct.

The Operator reserves the right to refuse any booking for any reason. In such cases, a full refund of any payment made will be issued.

 
Duplicate bookings

Overlapping or duplicate bookings for the same trip are not permitted. Any losses or damages incurred by the Operator as a result of duplicate bookings will be borne entirely by the customer.

 
Product-specific terms

Certain products and services carry their own additional terms and conditions, which apply alongside these general Terms and Conditions. Please ensure you read all applicable product-specific terms before completing your purchase. Where product-specific terms conflict with these general terms, the product-specific terms shall prevail.

 
Product availability

Products and services listed on this website may not be available in all countries. Such listings do not imply that the Operator intends to offer those products in every market. If in doubt, please contact us at (021) 3501888.

Pricing

Unless expressly stated otherwise, all prices displayed on this website include Value Added Tax (VAT). Full payment of the stated amount is required.

All prices are subject to availability and are not final until full payment has been received. For some bookings, an upfront booking fee may be required.

Cancellations & refunds

Cancellation and refund policies vary by product and service. To cancel a booking, please contact our office directly at (021) 3501888. Depending on the product type, cancellation requests may take varying amounts of time to process, and cancellation fees may apply.

 

The Operator reserves the right to decline any booking or purchase at its discretion and without liability. In such cases, all payments made will be fully refunded.

For paid bookings, refunds will be processed in accordance with our refund policy. Refunds for flight tickets may take approximately two (2) to three (3) months to process. This timeline is provided as guidance only and is not binding on the Operator.

Booking modifications

Modification policies vary by product and service type. Bookings cannot be amended directly through this website. To request a change, please contact our office at (021) 3501888.

Fraud awareness

Jatra Tour urges all customers to remain vigilant against fraudulent activity carried out by parties falsely claiming to represent Jatra Tour via SMS, email, or phone calls. Please be aware of the following official identifiers:

  • Promotional SMS from Jatra Tour will always display JATRATOUR as the sender name — never a regular mobile number.
  • Cash payments are only accepted in person at official Jatra Tour branch offices.
  • Jatra Tour will always issue an official order receipt as proof of payment for every transaction.
  • Our only official website is www.jatratour.com. All service and promotional information is published here.
  • Bank transfers must be made only to the account of PT JATRAIDOLA BIRO PERJALANAN WISATA SERVIS — never to an individual’s name.

  • Any request to pay additional fees before or outside the transaction process is a sign of fraud. Jatra Tour is not responsible for unauthorized transactions.
